This Privacy Policy describes how DocuBench LLC ("DocuBench," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the DocuBench software, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.


1. Scope and Intended Audience

The Service is intended for users located in the United States.

Access to the Service from other jurisdictions may occur incidentally. Such access does not constitute targeting, marketing, or an offer of services in those jurisdictions.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • User Content, including text, documents, URLs, chat history, and other materials you choose to submit or process through the Service;
  • Billing information for paid subscriptions (processed by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card details).

  • Log and diagnostic data (timestamps, error reports);
  • IP address and general location information (e.g., country or region).

We do not collect precise geolocation data.

  • Enable synchronization of User Content across devices associated with your account;
  • Process transactions and manage subscriptions;
  • Improve reliability, security, and performance of the Service;

We do not use User Content to train, fine-tune, or improve machine learning or language models.


4. User Content and AI Processing

User Content is processed solely at your direction. You control what content is submitted to the Service and how it is used.

The Service may transmit User Content to third-party infrastructure and language model providers to perform processing tasks as part of providing the Service.

DocuBench does not review User Content for accuracy, legality, or compliance with third-party terms and does not actively monitor User Content.


5. Data Retention

DocuBench retains personal information and User Content only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, including:

  • Maintaining user accounts;
  • Enabling synchronization across devices;
  • Complying with legal obligations;
  • Resolving disputes and enforcing agreements.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, user settings, and operational requirements. User Content may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated when no longer needed.

DocuBench does not guarantee indefinite retention of any information.


6. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With third-party service providers and subprocessors that support operation of the Service (such as cloud infrastructure, language model providers, and payment processors);
  • To comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or governmental requests;
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of DocuBench, users, or others;

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

DocuBench implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information.


8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.


9. International Data Transfers

Information collected through the Service may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be transferred to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.
